The thinking behind my work
Background
After leaving Defence to work in Health, I delivered culture change initiatives for Te Whatu Ora before moving to the Ministry of Health to support emerging and established leaders.
Through this work, I developed a strong interest in psychology and organisational problem-solving. I found that the most complex challenges in organisations are rarely technical, they are human. I enjoy working alongside leaders to unpack those challenges and provide practical, evidence-informed solutions.
My Approach
Grounded in Industrial–Organisational Psychology, my approach centres on the heart of any organisation: its people.
I focus on building cultures where individuals feel valued, motivated, and equipped to contribute meaningfully. High performance and wellbeing are not competing priorities — when designed thoughtfully, they strengthen each other.
This philosophy is captured in the idea:
Culture meets science.
